COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Apanui, which arrived at Auckland this morning from the coast, sails again at midnight to-night for the Great Barrier. The Pono is to be dispatched from Auckland at 3 o’clock this afternoon for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Rangitoto, which £ails early this afternoon for Thames, is due back again at half-past eight to-morrow evening. The Daphne sails at half-past nine this evening for Kopu and Turua. She is expected to arrive back again at 2 o’clock to-morrow afternoon. The Omana, returning from Waiheke at 6.15 p.m. to-day, sails again at 6.30 p.m. on Friday for Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha. The Kawau returns to Auckland at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow from Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. The tlauiti arrived at Auckland this morning from Kerepeehi. She sails again at noon to-morrow on the return trip. The Taniwha is due at Auckland at half-past 12 to-morrow morning from Paeroa. She sails again at 10 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Claymore arrives. at Auckland at half-past 3 to-morrow morning from Whangarei. She sails again for the same port at 8 p.m. to-morrow. The Richardson steamer Mako has been further delayed at Napier by rain and will not now arrive at Auckland from the coast, via Portland, till Friday morning. She is scheduled to sail later the same day for East Coast Bays, Napier and Wairoa. The Toa is due at Auckland at 6 o’clock to-morrow morning from Onehunga, via Hokianga. The Waimea, which left Auckland last evening for Gisborne and Napier, returns here on Sunday morning. The Katoa has been fixed to load at Port Craig early next week, thence Bluff, Wellington and Picton, for Auckland. She may probably call at Dunedin en route from Bluff to Wellington. The Wingatui, from Dunedin and way ports, left Wellington at 11 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Friday. After discharge here the vessel loads at Auckland, and sails next Monday for Lyttelton direct, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru.
The Kaponga should have left Westport last evening for Auckland, where she is due about Saturday. After discharge here, the vessel loads at this port for Wellington and Westport. The Kurow is to load at Dunedin tomorrow, thence Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. The Balls Head is expected to arrive at Auckland to-day from Greymouth, and, after discharge, returns to the coast port to load again for Auckland. The Kaimanawa is to load at Westport to-morrow for Auckland, and is expected to arrive here early next week. The Golden Harvest leaves Auckland on Friday evening for Wellington, thence Lyttelton to unload the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo. The Benton sails from Auckland at daylight to-morrow for Westport for bunkers, thence she proceeds to Ocean Island to load again for Auckland. The Cambridge has been delayed at Napier by bad weather, and now leaves there to-day for Wellington, LytteJton and Port Chalmers to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Comliebank is to sail from Lyton Friday for Port Chalmers and Bluff to put out the remainder of her Nauru phosphates. The Papanui arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Wellington, and sails on Friday for Dunedin to discharge the balance of her Montreal and New York cargo. The Saltersgate sails from Westport this week for Pago Pago and later proceeds to Nauru Island for loading.
