Two Killed in South Africa When First Moth Crashes

Received 9.5 a.m. CAPETOWN, Friday. A KIMBERLEY diamond-buyer, and owner of the first privately-owned Moth plane in South Africa, which was used for weekly visits to the diamond diggings, left this morning, accompanied by a retired Air Force officer. The plane crashed near Lichtenburg. Both are dead. The machine’s nose hit the earth with great violence.
