DOMESTIC’S PROMISE CHARGED WITH ASSAULT * (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. On Saturday morning, Emma Fraser, of Ngaruawahia, aged 47, as a domestic servant, was arrested for assaulting John Ferguson Strang, a* well-known Hamilton solicitor. When the woman was charged in the Police Court this morning. SeniorSergeant Sweeney told the court that the accused had given an undertaking not to assault Strang again. No evidence would be taken and be asked that the case would be struck out. Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., who- was on the Bench, agreed to this course.
