America Sends Three Hundred Representatives to the Games

THE American Olympic representatives, with an expeditionary force of nearly 300 perfectly trained athletes, sumptuously equipped, arrived in a floating hotel. There is an army of officials, highly-skilled coaches, and a galaxy of talent. A thunderstorm of - tropical intensity and torrential rain caused a complete suspension of training. The downpour is hound to affect the Stadium track seriously, rendering recordbreaking even less likely.
