FAMOUS SURGEON DEAD

SIR ARTHUR CHANCE (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) LONDON, Friday. The death has occurred at Dublin of Sir Arthur Chance, surgeon, aged 69. The late Sir Arthur Chance was president of the Royal Academy of Medicine, Ireland, 1921-24. He was a member of the council of the Koval College of Surgeons, Ireland, surgeon at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Dublin, 1886-1926; and a consulting surgeon to the Ministry of Pensions. He was born on June 15, 1559, and-educated at University College, Dublin. He had held many important public posts, and had written works on various surgical topics.
