“SHARPSHOOTERS” AT EMPIRE
Filled with adventure and romance, the picture, “Sharpshooters,” will be shown at the Empire Theatre this evening, with George O’Brien and Lois Moran as the stars. It is a story of gripping action, pathos and comedy of a typical sailor arriving at the port of Morocco and there leaving a heart-broken little French girl, who is desperately in love with the handsome American. This girl, never thinking that it was the glamour of the foreign port, the sky, the sea and the spirit of the days off the ship, follows her sailor to New York. There she becomes an employee in a second-class dance-hall under one of the most notorious bootleg kings in the city, still vainly, seeking the man she had met in Morocco. Bert Lytell is the star in “Alias the Lone Wolf,” a mystery play which will also be shown. An added attraction this evening will be the appearance of Delroy and Delaney in a clever comedy, patter song and dance turn.
