PETTY THEFT
HOUSE AT HERNE BAY The residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. McDermott, of West End Avenue, Herne Bay, was broken into last evening and ransacked by the intruders. About 12s in cash was taken and the wardrobes and drawers in the house turned out. Both Mr. and Mrs. McDermott were absent during: the evening l , and did not return until 9.45 o’clock.
