TAMAROA AT SOUTHAMPTON.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa is reported to have reached Southampton from New Zealand last Sunday. She was dispatched from Wellington on June 9.

northern Company nas received advice that the Lamp steamer Uiimana was dispatched from Port Stephens last Friday with coal and poles lor Auckland and Gisborne. She is expected at Auckland to-morrow and will berth at King s Wharf.

BORDERER DUE.—No wireless advice has been received from the Ellerman-Hall Line steamer Borderer, which is scheduled to arrive from New York on Friday. The vessel is runing under the auspices of the A. and A. Line, and the New Zealand Shipping Company is the local agent. She nas case oil and generalw merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.

SULPHUR FROM TEXAS. —Messrs. R. Millar and Company have received advice that the Glasgow steamer Copennagen, tons, was dispatched from waives ton, Texas, on July H, with a full cargo of sulphur lor discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton and Wanganui. She is due at Auckland about August 16. HARDWOOD FROM BUN BURY.—The Norwegian motor-snip Borgestad sailed from dunbury' last Tnursday with a lull cargo of Australian liarawuod for disenarge at Lyttelton and Wellington. She is of 3,924 tons gross and was built at Copenhagen in 1924. Like the motor-ship Brynje, now at Auckland, the Borges cad •is under charter to the American Trading Company. She is due at Lyttelton about July 26.

MAKURA’S PASSENGERS. —The Union Company s R.M.S. Makura arrived in the stream at Wellington on xvtonday morning from Sydney'. The iviakura leit Sy'dney at 4 p.m., on Thursday, and experienced fine weather with moderate southerly seas until nearing port early on iuonuay morning, when the wind freshened a little from the south.
