RANGITIKEI RIVER BRIDGE
RECONSTRUCTION WANTED (Special to THE SUE) MARTON, Friday. A resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council to-day that the Main Highways Board ba asked to subsidise, at the rate of £5 for £l, the construction of a new two-way traffic bridge over the Rangatikei River at Bulls. It was said that a traffic tally conducted during the first week in June showed the importance of the bridge as a link between the north and south.
