51ST ANNIVERSARY
CELEBRATIONS AT ST. JOHN’S Special services will be held at St. •ohn's Methodist Church, Ponsonby. to-morrow, when the 51st anniversary will be celebrated. The preacher ,n the morning will be the Rev. E. T. oids, and in the evening the new pasr' )r - th e Rev. Arthur Mitchell will take the service. At the 7 p.m. service Miss Laura and Mr Birrell O’Malley will solos and a large choir will sing •\htliems. Sir George Fowlds will pres*de at a service at 3 p.m., when an musical programme will be emitted. A reunion tea-meeting will beheld _ n the school room on Wednesday at P.m., which will be followed by a uncer t >n the church at 7.45 p.m.
