Elsie Prince and Jimmy Godden, who head the Fuller Musical Comedy Company which will open St. James Theatre on July 5 with “Archie” and “Sunny," will take the leads in a new musical comedy, “Funny Face," when they return to Australia.

The cast is now complete for the Auckland Little Theatre Society’s production of “Outward Bound.” Miss St. Clair Whyte will play the part of Ann. Daphne Knight, another newcomd’ r I to the Society, will play Mrs. Cliveden Banks, an excellent role, bristling with good points. Roberts Tole should acquit himself with honours as Tom Prior. Arnold Goodwin should make an

Roberts Tole excellent Scrubby, the curious bar-tender on a curious steamer. Linda Murphy will play the old charlady, Mrs. Midgett. James Swan, who made a fine impression in “The Old Lady Shows Ilex' Medals,” and Jack Stewart both have good roles. # * “Outward Bound,” th e play to be produced by the Auckland Little Theatre Society at the Concert Chamber on July 5,6, 7 and 9, has proved a big success in the J. C. Williamson management in Australia and has been presented at the King’s Theatre, Melbourne, and the Palace Theatre, Sydney. It is one of those contributions to drama produced by repertoire circles that developed into a conspicuous commercial success, proving beyond doubt that the work has a strong appeal to all classes of society.
