ASSESSMENT COURT
MANUKAU COUNTY ELECTION Of three nominees for representation of Manukau County on the Assessment Court, Mr. D. Day was returned at a meeting of ratepayers yesterday. The election was held in accordance with regulations gazetted last March under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925. Before the introduction of the 1928 regulations the appointment was made by the local authority without a ballot.
