NOT TURNING MONK
NOVARRO’S CONTRACT Ramon Novarro puts many rumours to death by signing a new contract with Me tro-Goldw'yn- Mayer. It has
been stated of late that Novarro intended to desert the screen to enter a monastery. It has also been rumoured that he plans a concert tour. Obviously he will do neither, for the Metro contract bestows his services upon this film company exclusively. Novarro made “The Student
Prince,” “B e n Hur,” “The Forbidden Hour.” and others for the- Metro. He is working now in “China Bound,” adapted from a, story by Ben Ames Williams.
