Hudson, of Auckland. have been staying: at the Grand Hotel. ♦ * * Commander and Mrs. Fell have come from Tauranga, and at present are at the Hamilton Hotel. * * * Mr.- and Mrs. Sanders, are Ngaruawahia visitors to Auckland. * * * GOLFING NEWS. On Thursday afternoon the Te Arolir Ladies’ Golf Club sent down a team of ten to play the Hamilton Club. A very pleasant afternoon’s golf was enjoyed by all the players, the visitors defeating the local team by 6J games to 3§. The matches resulted (Te Aroha names first): Mrs. Halligan defeated Mrs. Mander, 6 and 5; Mrs. Hunger defeated Mrs. Bell. 2 up; Mrs. Bliss defeated Miss D. Mackay, 2 up: Mrs. McClashan defeated Miss J. Masters, 7 and 5: Mrs. Dempster lost to Mrs. C. Bennett. 7 and 5; Mrs. Maingay lost to Miss M. McKenzie, 8 and 6: Mrs. Sprague defeated Miss K. Wilson, 2 and 1: Mrs. Flatt defeated Mrs. ‘Worley, 1 up: Mrs. Willis and Mrs. "W. King, all square; Mrs. Frear, lost to Miss Norris, 3 and 2. CABARET DANCE.
