DIXIELAND CABARET
CARNIVAL NIGHT Mr. Clyde Howley and his famous Internationals will provide the music for dancers at the Dixieland Cabaret this evening, when dancing will be indulged in from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. The members of the J. C. Williamson "Madame Pompadour” Company will be present at Dixieland on Monday evening, when the Tamaki Yacht Club is holding its great autumn ball.
Warner Brothers have just put into production the biggest programme they have ever undertaken. Seven production units are working on the first group of features to be included in this mammoth schedule that will comprise Warner Brothers’ releases for the season 1928-29. One of these seven companies began the long-awaited special “Noah’s Ark,” which Michael Curtiz is directing. This will be the most stupendous feature ever planned by the Warner organisation, who have adopted for it the slogan. "Made to top anv picture ever made.” \nebony Coldeway has just completed the adaptation. Master Pictures will handle this big special.
