They met again at a ball, and were mutually fascinated again. Still they were unhappy, owing to the husband's absences abroad. The wife suspected infidelity, but did not secure proof until she saw a film in Budapest showing a London race crowd, including her husband, who was walking with a charming Engjishwoman.
