| DELICIOUS BEAN SOUP | rJVO pounds French beans (too old for ordinary use), w one onion , two parsnips, two M P carrots, two tomatoes, three pot a&I toes and two tablespoons rice. m Cut all vegetables into small M P pieces, place in enamel saucepan, iffy lj| cover with cold water and boil || ||| slowly till tender. Then rub m f': through colander till all the pulp j|| has come out of the vegetables. || Place liquid back in the saucepan M together with pulp , add salt and p P pepper to taste and a little finely - P (4 chopped parsley. Return to stove M m and thicken, if necessary, with a « § tablespoon of flour mixed with gj cold water. Bring to the boil H again, and then serve. j|jj
