•THE AUCTIONEER” The Auctioneer,” a great American character drama, with George Sidney, is the first feature on the programme to be shown at the Royal Theatre, Hingsland. to-night. The plot revolves around Simon who, coming to America from Russia, makes a small fortune in his store on the East Side, of New York. He invests most of his fortune in a business, backing Dick Eagen, fiance his adopted daughter Ruth, whom fhe Levis adore. Through false promises and representations of Groode, partner in the business, Levi loses his money and is forced to go back to his old work of a street peddler. However, he has lost none of his Acuteness, and the shrewd auctioneer outwits the schemers and gets his fortune back intact, establishing a future lor Ruth and Dick at the same time. The second feature is “The Tidy Toreador,” starring Hoot Gibson as a ard-riding cowboy who risks his life 0 satisfy a woman's whim.
