FOUR MONTHS’ GAOL Press Association. WELLINGTON. To-day. A storeman named Driver, who pleaded guilty yesterday to the theft of goods from Derbyshire’s, and to obtaining money by false pretences, was sentenced to four months on each charge to-day, the sentences to be concurrent. Mr. E. Page, S.M.. said that the probation officer, in his report, did not recommend probation, and he had come to the conclusion that he was not able to grant it.
