WAIHI MINING ACTIVE DEVONPORT STEAMS WEAK Business on 'Change this morning was quiet, following the extra heavy volume recorded yesterday. There was little alteration in the tone of the market, however, most scrip remaining firm at late quotations. The feature of to-day’s business has been the revival of interest in Waihi and Ohlnemuri i mining scrip, sales of the former being put through on a slightly better market. In Banks, Commercials of Australia are firm with sellers at 28s 6d supported by buyers at 28s 4d. . Devonport Steam Ferry scrip is weaker with sellers at 24s 6d unsupported.
