Revilles, the court dressmakers, j have just completed a wonderful court gown and train for a wax model of Queen Mary, which Is being included in Madame Tussaud's new exhibition. The Queen took a personal interest j in the creation, and expressed her gratification on learning that every inch of material employed, as well as the labour, was British. A short length fabric of pale gold shot with old rose silk had to be specially designed and woven oil special looms. Embroidery Costs £2OO Rich embroidery on the dress cost £2OO. while the total cost, including labour, was £SOO. Many other figures in Tussaud’s waxwork sliotv have costumes costing more than £IOO.
