LEGS CRUSHED IN CRANE

ACCIDENT AT ADDINGTON Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Jifr. Hugh Miller, aged 52 years, of Maxwell Street, Ricearton, suffered a fractured right leg and abrasiohs of the left leg in an accident at the Addington Workshops to-day. He was working with an overhead crane at the workshops when he was caught in the cogs and had both legs crushed. He was taken to the hospital unconscious and an operation performed this evening. His condition is improving.
