TO-DAY’S OBSERVATIONS Meteorological observations taken at the Albert Park Observatory at 9 a.m. to-day by Captain D. McLeay, the Government Observer:— Barometer, 30.239 inches. Air temperature at 9 a.m., 70 deg. Temperature in shade yesterday: Maximum, 74deg.; minimum, 60deg.; maximum temperature in sun, 141 deg. Bright sunshine yesterday, shrs 55mins. Minimum temperature on grass, 53deg. Direction of wind at 9 a.m., East. Velocity of wind previous 24 hours, 90 miles. Rainfall during previuos 24 hours, nil. Rainfall to data this month, .20 inches. NORTH ISLAND CONDITIONS Observations taken at 10 a.m.:—
