TOO MUCH MONEY
MAORI PROHIBITED A native, Tame Ngarongo, was fined £lO at the Te Kuiti Police Court on Friday for- being drunk while in charge of a car. It was stated that accused had recently come into a little money, and was being victimised by sly-grog-sellers. The Bench severely reprimanded the accused, who agreed to have a prohibi tion order taken out against himself.
