New details are adding to the inherent attractions of the sports suit. Belts show touches of gold and silver, and jumpers gain an effect of soft brilliance from interwoven metallic threads. Favoured colours are navy, grey and an elusive shade of sage green. One jumper suit, appropriately christened “green grass,” had a pleated skirt decidedly longer than we have been accustomed to, and visitors to this particular show fell in love unanimously with the perfectly matching little green chapeau that completed the outfit. Hats exactly matching suits are a sine qua non of the new sar- / torial code.
