GUN ACCIDENT

YOUTH SHOT IN LEG Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. A gunshot wound in the leg was received by a youth, Ronald Burling, of 9 North Avon Road, while shooting rabbits at Courtenay yesterday. Burling and his mate were walking one along each side of a fence. The other man’s gun was discharged accidentally and Burling received practically the full charge in one leg. His condition is not serious. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.
