The market is steady. Deliveries of New Zealand total 1.200 tons; in store, 3,500 tons. Australian finest salted, 156 s to 160 s; unsalted, 160 s to 1645; Argentine finest unsalted, 150 s to 156 s to 160 s. Danish, 182 s to 184 s; spot, 1725, f.o.b. Dutch creamery, unsalted, 186 s to 188 s. Siberian, salted, 152 sto 1545. Retail prices: New Zealand, Is 7d, Danish, la Sd. Cheese: New Zealand white, 91s to 945; coloured, 91s to 935, up to 945. The market Is firm. Canadian finest white, 100 s to 104 s; coloured, 100 s to 102 s, up to 104 s. English, finest farmers’, 12Cs to 130 s. Retail prices: Is. The Canadian agent reports butter in New York at 52 cents (2s 2d), Montreal, 351 cents (Is 6Jd), San Francisco, 48 cents (2s). Stock in Montreal total 145,373 boxes. Last year the stock was 88,553 boxes.
