VALUES VERY FIRM By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. SYDNEY, Tuesday. The seventh series of wool sales commenced to-day. There was strong general competiton, and values generally were very firm at closing December rates for all descriptions. There was a particularly strong demand at full lato rates for skirtings, lambs’ wool, and comebacks. Crossbreds also met a strong market. Greasy Merino sold to 29*d. —A. and N.Z.
