WARATAHS WIN AGAIN

GLOUCESTER BEATEN VISITORS’ FINER FINISH By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON. Sunday. The New South Wales Rugby team yesterday defeated Gloucester by 13 points to 4. In the first half Gloucester did most of the attacking, but before the interval the vistors scored a try, which was converted. In the second half the Waratahs held the upper hand, although without A. Tancred, who retired through an injury. The bad handling of the home team was responsible for many missed chances, but they scored a dropped goal practically on time. The Waratahs showed more finish than their opponents. A feature of their game was the fine backing up, and the co-operation among the forwards in rushes. A. Tancred has dislocated his shoulder and will be unable to play for the remainder of the tour. The injury was not due to the state of the ground.—A. and N.Z.-Sun.
