DISTINGUISHED GENERAL TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND
Among a large party of Canadian tourists shortly due in Auckland is General Stewart, the Canadian railways expert, who made a big reputation in France for the expeditious manner in which he organised this branch <d military operations for the Allies. General Stewart and his wife daughter, says Mrs. Leo Cherniavsky who is a friend of the family and a fellow Canadian, propose spending several weeks in New Zealand.
