CROSSING FATALITY VICTIM “CHRISTMAS ALWAYS SPOILED” The victim of the shocking level-crossing fatality at Morningside on Saturday, Mrs. Ethel Brittain, and her family, have been dogged by bad luck. For the last three Chirstmases something had always happened at the last minute to spoil the season for them. On Friday evening Mrs. Brittain had railed on some friends and was talking of the misfortune which had been ■heir lot at Christmas time. “Something has always happened and spoiled our Christmas,” she say. 1 do hope nothing will happen this year; we have had our share.” But the following day she was killed hy a train at the Argyle Street crossng ii; saving her little son.
