Waingaro Hot Springs are a good trip for a week-end or for two days, although it can be done in one day. The Springs are 15 miles from Ngaruawahia by a good metalled road, but a more direct route lies from Huntly, although not metalled all the way. Good camping and bush scenery at the Springs. A further 5 miles brings one to the Raglan Harbour, where there is good fishing.
