THAMES RACECOURSE
EXTRA LAND PURCHASED (From Our Oxvn Correspondent) THAMES. To-day. The Thames Racing Club, after negotiations lasting for some time, have succeeded in purchasing ten acres of land adjacent .to their racecourse at Parawai. The club will be now able to carry out the improvements recommended by the committee, and thus make the course safe for future race meetings.
