SOVIET CHRISTMAS
NO RELIGIOUS ASPECT By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. MOSCOW, Thursday. The Soviet’s anti-religious organisation has issued a deta led programme for the Christmas holidays, in which it instructs the workers how to spend the season. There are to be 33 ice carnivals in Moscow, and various indoor anti-religious ceremonies and discussions. Young people are specially urged not to attend the churches and to avoid the priests, but to enjoy the good entertainments provided. The message ends; “Come and see us give Chamberlain and Pilsudski what they deserve.”— A. and N.Z.
