MR. AMERY AT SUVA
WELCOME CEREMONIES By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 10.20 a.m. SUVA, To-day. When the Aorangi arrived yesterday from Auckland, Mr. L. S. Amery, Secretary of State for the Dominions, was received by the acting-Governor, the Chief Justice, and the Mayor, and was introduced to the notables. There were the usual Fijian welcome ceremonies and expressions of goodwill ' toward the King. To-day Mr. Amery will meet the local bodies and there will be a civic reception. He sails at noon for Vancouver.—A. and N.Z.
