RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“SPECIAL DELIVERY” Eddie Cantor, whose second comedy feature for Paramount, “Special De* livery,” comes to the Rialto and Regent Theatres to-night, claims the distinction of being the first Paramount star to achieve the company's honour roll with his first picturt “Kid Boots,” the screen version of the former Broadway corfiedian'a famous stage success, is the picture that won him his “place in the sun’’ among the ten most prosperous current films produced by Paramount. “Special Delivery,” his second starring vehicle, is based on Cantor’s owe story of the misadventures of a rookie postman, in which he blunders from one ludicrous difficulty into another. Supporting Cantor in his newest venture into screen comedy are Jobyna Ralston, William Powell, Jack Dougherty, Donald Keith, Victor Potel.Paul Kelly and Mary Carr. Colleen Moore is busy on ‘Lilac Time,” from the musical comedy success. George Fitzmaurice is directing.
