CONVENT CONCERT
PERFORMANCE AT WAIHI An excellent concert was given in the Miners' Union Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday by the pupils of the Waihi Convent Schools, as a “wind up” to the year’s work. Operettas, fairy comedies, dialogues, choruses and part-songs were given by the children in a manner that earned unstinted applause.
Great credit is due to the nuns for the high standard of excellence shown by the youthful performers, the singing, dancing and reciting being exceptionally good.
