ALMAO RETAINS WHITE CUP (From Our Oictt Correspondent) WHAN GARE I, Thursday. The Kensington Bowling Club, represented by Horne, Woolley, Cliff and Pearce, challenged a Whangarei rink comprising Birch, Miller, England and Almao, to-day, for the White Cup. Almao won by 2-6 to 11. In handicap pairs game, S vans Allan, 20, defeated Harle and Coburn 14. In the handicap pairs game. Evans and Parrv, 25, defeated Miller and Allan, 23.
Draw games resulted as follow: Evans and Parry, 19, defeated Blanshard and G. Marshall, 17; Fraser and Meikle, 21, defeated McLeod and Xobes, 17; Muldoon and Keay, 21, defeated Harrison and McKenzie, 15; Delamore and Kerr, 17, drew with Pape and Donaldson, 17.
