George Hearn was sentenced to, imprisonment for life, with hard labour, in connection with an explosion of gelignite at Morawa.—A. and N.Z. , A, Perth cablegram of October 2!! read ; is follows:—An explosion, which 3s believed to be a deliberate attempt to murder a number of Italians, occurred today a ? Morawa. on the .Northern Rail way north of North&m, in \*hich five Italians, out of 14 were seri°J S f injured. The Italians were in a shelter-shed at the Morawa railway station. The explosive was either placed the - ® hed or was thrown through the window. The railway property was considerably damaged, and only prompt action by local residents prevented the injured men from being burnt to death. e
