SELLING CANADA’S OUTPUT Co-operative marketing is certainly an extensive factor in Canadian farm life. Whether or no it is finding favour in the eyes of the producer is another question. The Winnipeg annual statement of the Canadian wheat pool is now published, and shows that the pool handled during tho year 179,950,242 bushels of wheat out of a total 335,500,000 bushels handled in Western Canada. Grain was shipped to 24 countries through 60 ports. Great Britain was the chief importer with 50,000,000 bushels. Gross receipts from grain sales were 295,750,000 dollars (£59,150,000), and total costs deductible 76,815,000 dollars (£15,363,000), leaving 215.935,000
