“MY BEST GIRL”
MARY PICKFORD’S LATEST NOW READY FOR RELEASE “My Best Girl,” Mary Bickford’s latest picture, was finished a few weeks ago with some steamship sequences taken in Los Angeles harbour. Allan McNeil is cutting it down to the proper footage. A story by Kathleen Norris is the basis of “My Best Girl.” the romance of a girl clerk in a 5 and 10-cent store. It is Miss Bickford’s most ambitious attempt at comedy-romance. The funny gags were all planted by Tim Whalen and Clarence Hennecke, and the cast includes Charles Rogers, Hobart Bosworth, Mack Swain, Sunshine Hart, Carmelita Geraghty and Lucien Littlefield.
