MUNICIPAL BAND
ZOO AND TOWN HALL
A bright programme will be rendered by the Municipal Band in the Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Included are the stirring marches, “The Staffordshire Knot.” “Sylvia,” and “Ewart's Eagle,” hymn. “To Thee My Heart,” overture “Raymond," selections “Herbert Olliver’s Songs” and “The Merry Widow,” “A Forest Wooing” and other tuneful numbers. On Sunday night at 5.30 a musical recital will be given in the Town Hall. A charmingly varied programme will be played by the band under the baton of Bandmaster Christopher Smith.
