Friday. “Flee with me or die.” cried Paolina Pizzo, the 15-year-old pretty daughter of an Italian millionaire, pointing a revolver at Guiseppi Marches!, a goodlooking mechanic, a friend of the family. Marches! hestitated. “Kidnap me, or I kill you,” repeated Paolina. Marchesi accompanied the girl in her motor-car. On the following day he returned the pistol to Paolina's father, who asked him to fetch his daughter immediately. Paolina, delighted at figuring a 3 the heroine in a kidnapping, returned home happy, the father promising that she shall marry Marches! when older.—Sun.
