ADVERTISING ACTIVITY
NEXT YEARNS EXHIBITION PREPARATIONS IN HAND •‘Bigger, better and brighter than ever,” was the slogan expressed by Mr. L. A. Eady, president of the Auckland Advertising Club, in outlining the proposals now being considered for the 192 S advertising exhibition, at the club’s luncheon yesterday. Mr. P3ady said that in view of the great success of last year’s exhibition and its great educational value it was decided to repeat it again next year. The fundamental principle of next year’s efforts, he said, was to advertise advertising, and the scope of the exhibition would therefore be very wide. In the past the financial results had been very satisfactory, but next year it was hoped to launch out in the direction of introducing a number of new features, including a comprehensive display of the world’s newspapers, model beauty displays, window dressing competitions and large newspaper advertising competitions, etc.
Preliminary sub-committees had already been set up, said Mr. Eady, and it was proposed to organise further sub-committees in January when it was hoped to have all members working in some capacity the success of the exhibition.
