CHRISTMAS TEA AT JUBILEE INSTITUTE

Inmates of the Jubilee Institute for the Blind were treated to a Christmas tea given in the men’s quarters last evening. The room and tables were decorated in keeping with the occasion.

An excellent musical programme was presented by some of Auckland’s leading artists. The committee of the Men’s Social Club then expressed its indebtedness to all those who have contributed items at the Institute during the year. Their thanks were also extended to Messrs. W. Hicks ::n:l F. Turner for the use of their cars in the evenings, and to everyone who worked to make last night's entertainment a success.
