Mr. J- A. Warnock was a passenger by the Limited this morning. Mr. A. H. Johnstone left last evening on a visit to Wellington. Mr. XV. E. Johnston, of London, is staying at the Royal Hotel. Mr. Robert McVeagh left for Wellington last evening by the Limited. Mr. Thos. H. Hugo, chief inspector of fire brigades, Wellington, is staying at the Star Hotel. Mr. H. White-Wickham, of London, the well-known angler, is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. B. C. Chilwell, who has been visiting tho South, returned to Auckland this morning. Mr. G. R. Bertinshaw, designing engineer. New Zealand Railways, arrived this morning from Wellington. Mr. A. K. Davy, organiser of the L’nited Political Party of New Zealand. returned from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. Justice Sim. Sir Donald McGavin and Sir George Fenwick, members of the Prisons Board, and Mr. B. L. Dallard.
