RAILWAY BRIDGE PILLAR DEPUTATION TO MINISTER Pre 63 .AssoctatL**WELLINGTON, To-day. A deputation waited on the Minister Public Works, the Hon. K. S. Wiliams, to-day, protesting against the railway bridge over the Hutt Road built with a pillar in the centre °f the road, this being represented as constituting a danger to motor traffic ana l»kely to cause accidents. The Minister said that it was not only 4 question of cost, but the safety of Jhe railway was the first consideration. He was going into the question with •ne engineers.
