POLICE RAID IN TURKEY NUMEROUS ARRESTS By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Monday. The Constantinople correspondent of ‘‘The Times” says the police discovered a widespread Commtfnist movement engineered by Chefik Husnibey, who was sentenced to 15 years’ gaol In 1926 for Communist activities. He escaped to Russia, returned in disguise with a French passport, and began meetings, and the distribution of Communist propaganda. Already there are 64 arrests, including two officials of the local branch of Arcos, Limited, an employee of a Russian bank, and the secretary of the Turkish Communists.—Times.
