INTER-HOUSE CRICKET

FRIAR, RICHARDS V McMILLAN’S An inetr-house cricket match between Friar Richards and Upton and George McMillan and Co. was played last night, the latter team winning by 37 runs. McMillan’s started badly, losing the first four wickets without a run being scored. Good batting bv Harper (37) Innes (33) and Willis (13), however', saved the side, and the innings closed for 96 runs. For Friar Richards and Lpton, Hansen took five wickets and Ellis two.

Friar Richards replied with 69 runs Bainbridge (16), Hay (14 not out) and McGregor (11) the chief scorers. For McMillan’s, Harper took four wickets and Innes three. The wicketkeeping of Hay for Friar Richards was particularly good, only one bye being scored.
