POPULAR CRICKETER HORS DE COMBAT
Y.M.C.A. cricket eleven has been out of luck lately. Severely handicapped by the absence last week of E. H. Bowley, the player-coach, it has a stiff task in front of it tomorrow to pull its game against United Suburbs out of the fire, even with Bowley back. The club will also miss J. H. ("Don") Miller, its sports secretary, who has been confined to his bed for the past week or
two with an injured knee. The popular “Don” has been one of the stalwarts of the club since its inception, and his many friends will trust for his speedy recovery.
